Elizabeth Gallagher read history and economics at Oxford before undertaking her legal qualifications in London. She has been a specialist in family law since 1988, particularly with regard to private ancillary relief work and private law children cases. She is the secretary of the North East branch of Resolution and is a trustee of Relate. She is accredited as a collaborative lawyer. Elizabeth was a partner at another Newcastle firm before joining Samuel Phillips in 2004. She enjoys spending time with her own young children.
