Family Solicitor

2-8 years PQE

Samuel Phillips Law is a well established law firm based on the prestigious Grey Street in Newcastle.  Far from a high street firm, Samuel Phillips Law is a progressive and ambitious firm, striving to be ‘best in class’!

The firm employs 33 members of staff (three of whom are Salaried Partners and  two Senior Equity Partners) and has a broad value proposition with services across a number of specialist areas, including; Commercial and Civil Litigation, Commercial and Residential Property, Employment, Wills, Probates & Trusts, and Family Law.

Samuel Phillips would love to speak to experienced Family lawyers with around 2 – 8 years’ post-qualified experience who are looking for a new, progressive and vibrant environment to further their career.  The firm has an excellent reputation in the market, specifically in regards to highly complex matrimonial and financial matters.

The firm has recently launched a new confident brand with digital services in the pipeline, it has a particularly strong client base amongst the business community and high net worth individuals and can offer fantastic work with some great clients. The working environment is extremely stylish with well-thought-out office space within which to work. Despite its long history, this is certainly not a traditional law firm!  You will be working with a very well-established partner but there is no glass ceiling – so, for those who seek it, there are opportunities for real progression.

The firm is looking for a lawyer who is confident in his or her own skin, forges strong relationships with the business community, is agile, has a strong personal brand and can bring genuine enthusiasm to work.

This is a people-orientated firm; the whole team matters but individuals are given an opportunity to shine in their own right. The office is open plan so the ability to work together and share ideas is paramount. There is an impressive ratio of support staff to fee earners which means that your billing and debt recovery is taken care of, leaving you free to spend time with your clients and to build new business development opportunities.  Team members are well looked after, with a range of innovative benefits.

The role is open to those looking for full-time and there is also the ability to work from home.

This is a genuinely exciting time to be joining the firm!
