Alison works closely with Robert Gibson (Partner) and supports other staff in the Employment Department.

Alison is originally from Sunderland but has lived in Durham for the past 11 years.

This is Alison’s first position in a law firm, having previously worked in a secretarial/administrative capacity for a variety of businesses including Construction, Commercial Interior Design, Health Informatics and Libraries & Arts.  She was keen to join Samuel Phillips to become part of a highly rated city centre law firm and experience something completely new and exciting.

Alison has a Diploma in Administrative Management and a Foundation Certificate in Project Management; these qualifications have both proven to be invaluable in her development.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys socialising and makes the most of the café culture.  She enjoys the countryside and visiting new places.  Alison is also an animal lover and environmentally aware (she will try and recycle anything and everything!).
