The Chancellor, George Osborne has announced the introduction of an innovative financial aid to support the efforts of first time buyers.
The newly created ISA will be specifically designed for those looking to get onto the property ladder.
Termed in the Chancellors speech as a Help to Buy ISA it will allow the government to top up every £200 saved for a deposit by £50.
Early indications are that this new ISA will be introduced this Autumn.
