FAB Thunderbirds are GO at Newcastle Hospitals Staff Benefits Events

Five…four…three…two…one…Thunderbirds are Go!

Samuel Phillips certainly got into the spirit of this year“s staff benefits event by choosing the iconic programme from the 60“s as their Childrens Show theme.

We had dynamic international rescue heroes Scott and Virgil Tracy aka Stephen Robinson and Sam Mellish and the glamour and class in the guise of Lady Penelope. Oh and some chap who drove the pink Rolls Royce — I think Parker was his name.

This is a fun event with a serious message, giving something back to those hard working folks at the Trust.

Samuel Phillips offer a wide range of services for staff including reduced price wills that can be purchased via a salary sacrifice scheme run by the staff benefits team, headed by Fiona Lee.

Fiona confirmed that almost 2,000 staff participated over the course of the 2 events held at the RVI and Freeman hospitals.

One charity that benefited from the additional exposure was the Young Adult Kidney Fund, who all looked fantastic as characters from Alice in Wonderland. Parker was spotted lurking around their stand and diving nose first into one of their specialities — a cupcake in a cup!

All in all a wonderful couple of days enjoyed by the team at Samuel Phillips and hopefully those that stopped by for a chat with the Thunderbird crew.

You could say it was FAB.
