Dispute Resolution

The first thing you need us to do to help you is to understand your personal predicament and your hopes for a sensible outcome.

We can then review the situation, to report to you upon how far your hopes can be met in the specific circumstances.

If a solution can be found through early negotiation, we will of course work hard to achieve that for you. We will use the pre-action correspondence to express your position, but we will also seek to discuss matters without prejudice with the other side, to see if a solution can be found.

If not, we will of course help you through the litigation, being careful to ensure that you are always aware of the merits of the case, the current and upcoming steps of the case and your costs situation and risk.

We especially appreciate that, when the other side is another individual, emotions often run roughshod over reason. We will do everything we can to minimize such tensions and we will seek a sensible and cost effective outcome for you.

We also ensure that, when you are going up against a company (particularly a large company) you will not feel like the little individual being steamrollered by the large corporate entity.
